Another serving of finely crafted beats from the Blah Records original production don, as Reklews serves up Rap Type Beats Vol. 2. Following on from the highs of his first volume, back in 2017, as well as the successes of his production on various interim projects, Reklews now returns to the fore with a selection of beats that remind us why he's long been the go-to for Blah artists and beyond. Rap Type Beats Vol. 2 can be heard in full below and other streaming options are available from the usual platforms.

A strong end to the week as we hit you with the second project of the year from Bang On! and Reklews. Following in the footsteps of their first EP, Defo Not Normal, which was released back in June and shone a light on the two Blah OGs creative chemistry, now the duo are back at it with six fresh bangers that serve as the perfect soundtrack for kiddas antics up and down the country. There's a whole range of different styles and flavours at work across the EP, with Reklews's grade A production and Bang On's lyrical excellence acting as the common bond. You can listen to Kidda in full below, with other download and streaming options available on all the usual platforms. Artwork by Matt Littler.

10 years ago the world bore witness to one of the most monumental rap releases since Rakim questioned if we knew the ledge. Lee Scott and Reklews combined their ample talents to form Hock Tu Down, before unleashing Prozium Peddlin on an unsuspecting nation of hip hop fans. The result was a cult classic, an embodiment of Blah's alternative take on UK rap. Now for the first time the album has been made available on vinyl, in a very limited edition run of 12" double discs. Orders are available now, more information on which you can find over on the Blah store.
