News: new music

Not content with one new video a week, now the newest additions to the Cult are back with the second visual trip from their forthcoming debut LP. languid.oceans (Obijuan x looms.) follow up their lead single, Sway In The Morn, with another woozy lo-fi jam, thanks to dylantheinfamous who's on production once again. The self-titled debut album is due for release on Friday, with vinyl pre-orders available now over at the Blah shop.

We just dropped a brand new video from languid.oceans, the rap duo made up of Obijuan and looms. The track comes hot on the heels of their excellent guest spots on Lee's most recent releases and it also heralds the imminent arrival of their debut LP. The track is produced by dylantheinfamous, who handles full production on the self-titled album, which is due for release on 14 February. More news on that coming soon.

A new release from us today, as dylantheinfamous makes his official Blah Records debut. The producer has already been involved on a number of Blah projects over the last few years, including various beats for Black Josh and Lee, and now he's blessed us with the moonloops beat tape. It's actually a re-release from 2017, but it acts as a fine showcase of dylan's production, with the tape brimming over with soulful sample heavy beats. moonloops [vol. 1] is available to stream now on the usual platforms and you can also hear it in full below.

On Christmas Day, your Lord and Saviour, Lee Scott, blessed our enlightened Cult Members with a brand new EP, coming just a couple of weeks after the surprise release of his new album, Somewhere Between Here and There. Although initially it was a Cult Member exclusive, today sees the full digital release of the EP on all the usual platforms and streaming services. The ffsman ep, features beats from a number of production geniuses, including Morriarchi, Sumgii and Sam Zircon, as well as some supreme guest spots from the likes of Jehst, Dream Mclean and CLBRKS. It's available to stream and download now, plus you can listen to it in full below.

New year, new bars, as Black Josh joins forces with fellow LEVELZ representative, Metrodome, for this blistering rendition of his new track, Self Destruction. Think big drums and heavy bass, as Josh lights the booth up with a fresh hunger for 2020. The track is taken from his forthcoming album, Mannyfornia, which is due for release this year. More details on that will follow soon. The video for Self Destruction was filmed at DOTMOV Studios.

Fresh visuals from the Supergang project, which we released back in May this year. Yellow x Green is the latest track to be taken from the album and features Lee Scott and Sniff getting to work over some typically tight production from Sumgii. The video was made by RSLBM. Supergang is available now in both physical and digital formats.

Lee Scott keeps the gifts coming as he delivers a new video from his latest album. Ice Burn is produced by Wholesome Fun and the video was made by Nah Eeto and Slim Parisoo. Keep an eye out for some cult cameos too. Somewhere Between Here and There is out now on digital and vinyl.

We are nothing if not generous here at Blah and so following on from our early Bandcamp release of the latest Lee Scott album, today we thought we would you give you a new video from the project as well. Table is one of the last tracks on Somewhere Between Here and There, and features production from Bisk, with Jazz T on the cuts. The video was made by Vikki Digby-Johns. Somewhere Between Here and There is available now on Bandcamp and on limited edition vinyl, via the Blah shop. Full digital release is 6 December.
