Don't disappear just yet, because we've got another new video for you today, thanks to the arrival of the new Mcabre Brothers single. Dime Por Qué is produced by Trellion and features a typically tight verse from Cult OG, Sly Moon. His album is coming soon, so stay tuned for that. Dime Por Qué will be available to stream from Friday.
It's been a while since we released one of our Blah Stylin sessions into the world, so what better way to return to the sesh than with a second performance from Blasck Josh. Hot on the heels of his most recent album release, the Manchester MC breathes new life into the Offie instrumental from COTD. The beat was produced by Wholesome Fun & Lee Scott. MANNYFORNIA is out now.
To coincide with the merch drop, we thought we would stage a little 5-a-side footy match for the Cult. As you can see from the photos below, it was a huge success and I doubt it will be long before you see some more familiar faces in the Premiership. All credit to Harvey for the photos (IG: @hwfpht).
It's been a while since we hit you with a merch drop and what with the summer finally showing its face, we figure now is the perfect time to get a new line out.
First up we have the official Blah Football Shirt, which features the Blah logo on the breast and every 90's dad's favourite brand of cigs on the main front section. It's available exclusively to Cult Members until 1 July and then the rest of you mere mortals will be able to get your hands on one.
Next up we have a new Cult of The Damned hoodie, emblazoned with the COTD logo on the front and the 'IT'S THEM!' design on the back (see photos below). It's a limited run of 200 and again it's only available to Cult Members until 1 July. Available to order here.
And last but definitely not least, we have the very timely and some would argue essential, Cult of The Damned face masks. As you can see from the photo below, the masks come with the logo on the front and they are totally washable/reusable. They're available now for everyone, more info and orders can be found here.
Unless you've been living out your days under a rock, you will no doubt be aware that Black Josh has a new album on the way. So far he's treated us to a couple of tasters from the Mannyfornia LP and now he's keeping our interests piqued with the announcement of a little UK tour. Kicking off in Bristol later this month, the Manchester MC will then hit London, Leeds and Manchester, bringing with him a fine selection of support acts. Sleazy F, Jack Danz, Mennis, Metrodome and Con M1 will be joining Josh on selected dates, as you can see on the poster above, plus there will be a full gang appearance from Cult of The Damned at the Corsica Studios show on 26 March. Check out Josh's Instagram for ticket info.
It's been a while since we treated you to some new COTD material, so today we bring you a brand new video from the crew, plus some merch and vinyl news.
OFFIE is the first we've heard from the Cult since their 2018 album, but as you will see and hear, they have lost none of that unbridled raw sweg energy in the interim. Featuring Lee, Milk, Barebase, Shakes, Grubb, Sly Moon and Salar, plus some suitably gritty production from Lee and Wholesome Fun, this is COTD in their purest form.
The video was released to coincide with the new COTD vinyl that has just gone up for pre-order, as well as a new logo tee, which you can see in the video being worn to devastating effect. Both the vinyl and t-shirt are available to order now.
Christmas might be over, but that doesn't mean you can't still treat yourself to a gift, like one of the super sweg new pieces of clothing we've just launched. There are three new items available, kicking off with the Cult of the Damned 'Civilised' hoodie. As you can see from the photos, the hoodie comes in black with a red cult movie poster style design on the back, featuring one of Barebase's immortal lines and the full cast list from Civilised.
The hoodies are limited to 200 and are already flying off the shelves, so be quick if you want to bag one. We have also dropped two new Blah Jar rugby shirts in Navy and Striped versions which initially are available exclusively for Cult Members, with a full release following on 31 January. You can find out more about Cult Membership here.
Our extended family over at Off Licence Magazine recently conducted an interview with arguably the most famous Blackburnian on the planet, Bill Shakes. They discuss Bill's new album, EH?, the definition of cold saggin' and more. There is also a tribute to the Blah Records OG in their latest issue, which is out now.
