News: new music

A brand new video for your viewing pleasure, taken from the Lee Scott and Hyroglifics album - [gate clicks shut]. Inner Ramblings sees Lee performing a one man posse cut, as he gives a platform to the multitude of voice vying for attention in his head. The video was made by Louis McKay, with VFX from This & That Media. The new album is out now exclusively on Bandcamp, as well as physical formats. Stay tuned for streaming options coming very soon.

A little earlier than expected due to a minor technical issue, the new album from Lee Scott and Hyroglifics is now available over on Bandcamp. The full digital release will be rolled out within the next 72 hours, but for now head over to Bandcamp and make the most of the (unplanned) exclusive download.

For those of you who aren't aware, [gate clicks shut] is produced in its entirety by Hyroglifics and features guest appearances from Bigg Jus, King Grubb, Black Josh, VAIKE PD, CLBRKS and BeTheGun, plus backing vocals from Lyza Jane.

Signed copies of the LP are also available via Bandcamp, with unsigned editions available over at the shop, as well as the cassette version.

We are pleased to bring you the first video from the latest addition to the Blah family, Franky Bones. The funk mastermind recently released his new EP, Casa Saudade, which served as a fine introduction to his wealth of musical talent, with Couple Bucks just one of the gems to be found on there. The track was created entirely by Franky, from the instrumentation to the production. The video was made by TRASH FILMS AND MUSIC. The Casa Saudade EP is out now.

A brand new video from Bisk just landed, answering the prayers of those who have been fiendin' for something fresh from the Swamp Harbour resident. MEEDAT is produced by Blah affiliate Jack Danz, with guest spots from Sleazy F Baby and Black Josh. The video was made by Harvey Wallbanger and DEW8.

Lee Scott has a new album lurking on the horizon, [gate clicks shut], produced in full by Hyroglifics. The release is set for the not too distant future, but to keep you all tided over until then, we gift you this first leak from the project. A Most Difficult Path is a good taster of what's in store from the rest of the album, which we will have more news on soon. Finishing off the week with a warm welcome for the latest Cult Member to join our ranks - Franky Bones. The multi-talented musician has been making a name for himself for the last few years, thanks to ongoing collaborations with artists like Harleigh Blu and Ella Knight.
Now he's making his Blah debut with his new EP, Casa Saudade, which serves as the perfect introduction to his sound. It's available to stream and download now on all the usual platforms, plus there are vinyl orders up for grabs too. You can find all the links you need here.

Nah Eeto returns with new music, gifting us her first single since last year's, Hunijui. This time she is not alone, as she is joined by fellow Kenyan MC, Ohms Law Montana, as the pair go back to back over some tight production from Wholesome Fun aka Jack Chard and Hyroglifics.
