Today marks the release of the new album from Jam Baxter. Obscure Liqueurs is his first full-length release since 2018's Touching Scenes and features full production from Cult favourite, Sumgii. The album also boasts some nice features, including Lee Scott, Jehst, Milkavelli and Stinkin Slumrok. The artwork was created by Jenna Andreotti. You can stream the full album below, with physicals and downloads available from the usual spots. Vinyl pre-orders will be shipped from today.
As we announced last week, Jam Baxter has a new album on the horizon, produced entirely by Sumgii. As well as the digital version, Obscure Liqueurs is also going to be available on this delectable limited edition vinyl. As you can see it comes in this slick patterned version and is limited to a run of 300, so be quick if you want in. Pre-orders are available now, with shipping from 1 February - the album's release date. If you missed it, Baxter's new video, Salsa Valentina, is out now.
New video from GROUP, as they celebrate the arrival of their first vinyl release with some fresh visuals. One Two is the opening track on the 1 EP and features production from Jack Chard. The video was made by DEW8. 1 is available now via the Blah shop, as well as the GROUP delivery cap.
Not content with one Sly post today, now we bring you news of his vinyl release, as well as some affiliated merch, which just landed at HQ. The vinyl version of the album comes in a luxurious picture disc edition, as you can see from the photo below, and is limited to a run of 200. The artwork is by our regular collaborator, James Neilson. It's due to be shipped out on or around 30 November, with pre-orders available now. There is also a cassette version available for pre-order, with a limited run of 50 being produced. They are due to be shipped at the same time as the vinyl.
And then on top of the physical releases, we have an accompanying merch drop to give you that full Sly Moon experience. The Sly Moon Lucky Cap will give you all the good fortune you need, while also giving you the appearance of a person who has it all. It's due for release on 30 November and it's limited to a run of 50. Pre-orders are available now. New music from the newly formed GROUP. Everything I know is the first track from their forthcoming debut, 1, which is the first of four vinyl releases. The track also features an appearance from the mighty Lord Apex. You can watch the visual below and streams/downloads are also available. More news on the full release and an accompanying batch of merch coming soon.
Some good news amidst the current global shit show, as today marks the release of Black Josh's latest solo album. I say solo, but it is really a collaboration with fellow MCR resident and LEVELZ affiliate, Metrodome, who is at the helm for the production. If you've heard the singles in the run-up to the full release, you will already have a taste for the flavours that these two put together - namely bass-heavy bangers, but with enough variety to keep you hooked. A stack of tight features too, with Josh getting assists from Sleazy F, Lord Apex, Yibby, [KSR], Lunar C, Coops and more along the way. You can stream the album in full below and other streaming/download options are available from the usual spots. You can also cop a limited edition vinyl version over at the shop.
Another Friday, another new release, as we unveil the new full-length collaboration between CLBRKS and Morriarchi. Having already blessed us with a couple of tasty singles along the way, we can now indulge ourselves with a full serving of Microwave Cooking 2000. As you would expect, the album comes with a strong Blah contingent in tow, with CL and Morri bringing in Bisk, Capriisun, Lee, Conrad Mundy and Obijuan to assist, resulting in a heady blend of styles but each complemented perfectly thanks to Morriarchi's as ever on point production. You can hear the album in full below, with downloads and physicals available from the usual spots.
