Last month we released the first official offering from dylantheinfamous, the Birmingham beat-maker who had already had a hand in a few notable Blah projects. The moonloops vol. 1 release proved very popular and we also know you all like new things, so today we have released a cassette version of the project. Featuring 23 tracks, each written, composed and produced by dylan, the run of tapes is limited to 20, so be quick if you want to get your hands on one. You can place your order now over at the shop.

Black Josh continues to build the hype for his latest album, as he kicks off the week with a new video. Locals sees Black Josh once again teaming up with fellow Manny resident, Metrodome, who has concocted a tough breakbeat-style backdrop for Josh to get to work on. The album, Mannyfornia, will be released on Blah shortly. Stay tuned for more news on that coming soon. Also keep an eye out for Josh's new tour, which kicks off this month.

It's been a while since we treated you to some new COTD material, so today we bring you a brand new video from the crew, plus some merch and vinyl news.

OFFIE is the first we've heard from the Cult since their 2018 album, but as you will see and hear, they have lost none of that unbridled raw sweg energy in the interim. Featuring Lee, Milk, Barebase, Shakes, Grubb, Sly Moon and Salar, plus some suitably gritty production from Lee and Wholesome Fun, this is COTD in their purest form.

The video was released to coincide with the new COTD vinyl that has just gone up for pre-order, as well as a new logo tee, which you can see in the video being worn to devastating effect. Both the vinyl and t-shirt are available to order now.

Following on from our recent announcement that Obijuan and looms. had joined the Cult, under their collaborative title, languid.oceans, we are now pleased to unveil their debut album. The self-titled LP weighs in at 11 tracks, with the majority of the production coming from fellow Cult affiliate, dylantheinfamous. If you've heard the first two singles from the album, then you will already know the vibe - dusty lo-fi gems, peppered with soul and jazz, and laced with two contrasting but extremely complementary flows. You can hear the full thing for yourself below and there are also more streaming options here, as well as pre-orders for the vinyl release.

Not content with one new video a week, now the newest additions to the Cult are back with the second visual trip from their forthcoming debut LP. languid.oceans (Obijuan x looms.) follow up their lead single, Sway In The Morn, with another woozy lo-fi jam, thanks to dylantheinfamous who's on production once again. The self-titled debut album is due for release on Friday, with vinyl pre-orders available now over at the Blah shop.

We just dropped a brand new video from languid.oceans, the rap duo made up of Obijuan and looms. The track comes hot on the heels of their excellent guest spots on Lee's most recent releases and it also heralds the imminent arrival of their debut LP. The track is produced by dylantheinfamous, who handles full production on the self-titled album, which is due for release on 14 February. More news on that coming soon.

Lee Scott keeps the videos coming, with this latest visual feast for Applause, which is lifted from the ffsman ep. This time round the cult leader is joined by the MC duo, languid.oceans, which is comprised of looms. and Bad Taste Records affiliate, Obijuan. The track was produced by Wiardon and the video was made by keefjojoo. The ffsman ep is available to cop now from all the usual spots.

Yesterday we released a brand new video from Lee Scott's latest album, Somewhere Between Here and There. Somewhere is the opening track from the album and sets the tone for what follows, as Lee delivers semi-autobiographical life notes from the early days of a Runcorn kid. The track was produced by Wholesome Fun and the video was made by Siim Parisoo out in Estonia. It stars Karina Laura Leškin and Väike PD (complete with tin foil fronts). Somewhere Between Here and There is available now on both physical and digital formats.
